Herkimer Diamonds are raw stones grown in the Earth and found in various sizes and shapes with their signature double point also called double Termination.
Each stone is completely one of a kind as they are not cut or shaped by human hands. Most stones are clear, however some stones will have small flecks or "windows" as is the true nature of these natural stones and the literal sign of their growth from the Earth.

I got this today and I’m so disappointed. The stone is much smaller than what is depicted and a very irregular shape. I know in the description it mentions each stone is different, but I expected the jeweler to choose stones that matched the pictures better. I feel like the jeweler used any old stone without thought about matching expectations. This ring was more expensive than I usually spend and I did it because I loved the ring so much. 😔
